Our Childcare and Young People Speciality Courses offer Level 3 short courses focused on the specific needs of children, young people, and their families. These courses are designed for care workers, support staff, teaching assistants, and practitioners who work with children and young people in residential, educational, domiciliary, and community settings. Each course includes a Level 3 certificate of completion and RQF credit certificates from an Ofqual recognised awarding body, unless stated otherwise. We also offer regulated NOCN, OCN, and OCN NI qualifications at Levels 2, 3, and 4, covering independent advocacy, working with parents, child learning development, outdoor play and learning, and special needs support. Grounded in the social model of care and human rights-based practice, our training promotes strength-based, person-centred approaches that see the child or young person as an individual with rights, preferences, and potential.
