Learning Disabilities Course

A Level 3 short course building knowledge and practical strategies for supporting individuals with learning disabilities in care and community settings.

Our Learning Disabilities Course is a Level 3 short course designed to help care workers and support staff understand different types of learning disabilities, their causes, and the best ways to provide person-centred support. The course emphasises promoting independence, inclusion, and rights for individuals with learning disabilities. Grounded in the social model of care and human rights-based practice, the training helps staff adopt strength-based, person-centred approaches that recognise the capabilities and potential of every individual rather than focusing on limitations.
