The NOCN Level 3 Award in Information, Advice or Guidance is an Ofqual regulated qualification designed for professionals who provide information, advice, or guidance as part of their role in health and social care. This award covers the principles of effective information giving, the distinction between information, advice, and guidance, communication and listening skills, signposting and referral, and managing boundaries and confidentiality. It is ideal for care navigators, social prescribers, support workers, and front line staff who regularly help individuals navigate services and make informed decisions about their care and support. The course emphasises empowerment, ensuring that individuals are supported to make their own choices rather than having decisions made for them.
