The Level 3 Managing and Facilitation of Care Assessments is an endorsed qualification designed for staff who have responsibility for care assessments within their care setting. It equips learners with the knowledge and skills to manage assessment processes, quality assure the assessments of others, and ensure outcomes that are person-centred and legally sound.
This qualification is ideal for senior care workers, assessors, team leaders, and managers in residential, domiciliary, supported living, and day centre settings who are responsible for assessing needs or checking the assessments of others. It covers the principles of assessment, the legal framework including the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005, risk and needs assessment, recording, and the leadership of assessment practice across a care service.
