Dementia Care Course

A Level 3 short course on understanding dementia and providing compassionate, person-centred care for individuals living with dementia.

Our Dementia Care Course is a Level 3 short course that helps care workers and support staff develop a thorough understanding of dementia, including its different types, progression, and impact on individuals and families. The course focuses on person-centred approaches that maintain dignity, promote wellbeing, and support meaningful engagement for people living with dementia. Grounded in the social model of care and human rights-based practice, the training helps staff adopt strength-based approaches that see the person behind the condition, recognising their remaining abilities, life story, and right to continue leading a meaningful life.
