One-to-One Mentoring is aimed at registered managers and leaders, covering regulatory navigation, inspection confidence, and leadership development. Staff Coaching is aimed further down the organisation, at senior care workers and teams, covering career progression, reflective practice, and team collaboration.
Slightly, a Mentoring Block of six sessions costs £165, working out to £27.50 per session against £30 for a single session booked on its own.
At £80 a month, it provides continuous access to mentoring support rather than booking individual sessions, suited to a registered manager who wants an ongoing point of contact rather than occasional one-off help.
Yes, the Consultancy & Specialist Support component covers service reviews, restructuring assistance, commissioner relations, and safeguarding assessments, alongside bespoke specialist projects priced from £180 a day for situations that don't fit the standard mentoring or coaching formats.
Regulation 18, Staffing, requires staff to receive "the support, training, professional development, supervision and appraisals that are necessary for them to carry out their role," and requires providers to actively support staff in obtaining further qualifications rather than standing in the way of it.
Regulation 33, Induction, probation, supervision and appraisal, is the direct counterpart: every employee must undertake appropriate continuing professional development, receive practice related supervision from someone with appropriate experience, and have their performance and fitness to perform their role appraised at least once a year.
Both. "Supervision" is named explicitly in both Regulation 18 and Regulation 33, so an outsourced mentoring and coaching relationship isn't an optional extra, it's a straightforward way to evidence a requirement you already have to meet, particularly useful where you don't have a suitably experienced person in-house to provide it yourself.
No named local authority regulation exists here, but commissioning and quality assurance frameworks generally expect to see supervision and appraisal records as part of ongoing contract monitoring, the same evidence CQC and Ofsted already require.
Whether you need ongoing mentoring or one off consultancy, we are here to help. Get in touch for a no obligation conversation.
