Our accredited health trainer qualifications and courses are designed to give you the confidence, knowledge, and skills to deliver your own training. You'll gain competency in teaching and assessing the care certificate, moving and handling, safeguarding, infection control, mandatory training, and other health and social care courses where you are occupationally competent.
The purpose is to give you the competency to train, teach, mentor, instruct, assess and meet the needs of care workers. These qualifications focus not only on health and social care but also on teaching and training skills. Designed to save money by getting staff fully competent to deliver training in-house.

Both the Level 3 Award for Health and Social Care Trainers and the Level 3 Award for Manual Handling Trainers include the Training Delivery Bundle at no extra cost: ten ready-made trainer packs covering Basic Life Support, Moving and Handling People, Infection Prevention and Control, Dementia Awareness, Safeguarding, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Fire Safety, Fire Warden, and Medication. Each pack comes with teaching slides, group activities, and assessment forms, so once you are qualified you can start training your team on day one.
Once you are delivering your own training, an optional annual support package gives your in-house courses external credibility that stands up well when the CQC or a commissioner comes asking questions: trainer observations, regular monitoring against current standards, and feedback and written reports after each check. Certificates for your learners are £2 each, and the annual support package is £105 per year.

Attend in-person sessions at our Cheadle training centre or arrange for us to deliver at your premises. Ideal for groups and organisations wanting a hands-on classroom experience.
Complete the theory component online at your own pace, then progress to a live teaching observation via Zoom. You'll need a laptop or tablet with camera and audio, positioned to capture your training delivery within a real workplace environment.
Combine online theory with selected in-person workshop days. Flexible for those balancing shifts and study.
Practical delivery evaluation in a real workplace environment.
Regardless of your chosen delivery method, all learners must complete a teaching observation. For online learners, this takes place via video conferencing (Zoom) with you positioned to capture your training delivery within a real workplace environment. For face-to-face learners, the observation is carried out in person at our centre or your premises.
