Our Blended Statutory and Mandatory Training offers the same extensive coverage as our one day course, but with a flexible format designed for care workers who need to fit training around shifts. The theory component is completed online at your own pace, followed by a shorter in-person practical assessment session.
This approach reduces time away from the workplace while still ensuring learners gain the practical competency needed to deliver safe, compliant care. The course is aligned with Skills for Care CSTF standards and recognised by CQC and local authorities.
Two stages: online theory, then practical assessment.
Complete the theory component online at your own pace. Covers all core statutory and mandatory subjects including health and safety, infection control, safeguarding, medication management, fire safety, and more. Accessible on any device, 24 hours a day.
Attend a shorter in-person session at our Cheadle Training Centre or at your premises to complete the practical assessment. This session focuses on hands-on skills such as manual handling, basic life support, and emergency response.

Safe handling techniques, use of hoists and handling aids, risk assessment, and protecting both carer and service user.
