This course is aligned with the Skills for Care 15 standards and was developed in partnership with Skills for Health and Health Education England.

This Care Certificate sets the standards for the skills and knowledge that care workers supporting individuals in the United Kingdom need to provide safe and compassionate care. The standards play a crucial role in equipping care workers with essential skills that include preparing them with the necessary knowledge and expertise to excel in their roles.

The course is also designed to familiarise new employees with the policies, procedures, and values of care with topics such as communication and safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and confidentiality.
